Essential Warm Weather Cover Ups

We are all eager to deposit our coats into the closet, and leave them there for a long summer’s nap. Yet, the reality behind the perfect wardrobe is that no matter what the season you are not without the appropriate cover up. Certainly, the wool and other heavy materials can’t come out to play in June and July, but you should still have a spring, and even a summer alternative to going bare shouldered all day and evening long.

There are so many different places, and occasions that one courses through where it is either proper or preferable that you not have just that strapless, or strappy top on. Either you will attend a ceremony, performance, or other event that requires you to look demure for at least a portion of your time there, or you will find yourself in areas where the temperatures drop either naturally, or mechanically.

There is nothing worse that spending hours perfecting your hair, makeup and outfit, only to be seen with arms crossed shivering, or worse to conceal most of it under your partners suit jacket. No, no, no, please don’t allow it to come to that.  Instead, be that put together lass with the matching cotton swing coat, your own silky blazer, or a sexy tailored trench.
